Peggy ***Available for Adoption***

Peggy is a much-loved 3-year-old French Bulldog. Her owner has made the difficult but sensible decision to rehome her as Peggy can show guarding behaviour around food and toys which doesn’t mix with having a young child in the home.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ Peggy is very loving toward the baby but her owner worries it could become risky if they both go for the same toy or food item. As such we wouldn’t rehome Peggy with children under 11.

๐Ÿˆ She lives with a cat but it’s not an easy relationship and Peggy will corner and chase the cat so a pet free home is preferable.

โœ… Peggy is house trained, crate trained and fine to be left for around 4 hours.

โœ… She is friendly and affectionate and enjoys play and interaction.

โœ… She walks beautifully on the lead.

๐Ÿ• Peggy has a tendency to be dog reactive when walked with her owner. However she doesn’t show the same behaviour with other handlers so needs a calm, confident owner who will pass that confidence down the lead to Peggy. Caution is needed around other dogs as Peggy likes her space. More details will be provided to suitable applicants.

โ€ผ๏ธ Peggy has a skin condition which is not cared for can result in her becoming itchy, scabby and sore. She requires a hypoallergenic diet and her owner takes her for regular injections at the vets which help enormously. A potential owner would need to factor in the costs associated with these.
