Clyde is a handsome 19-month-old Ambull who originally came from the pound. He was adopted last year but has sadly come back to us when his family decided he was just too strong for them.
He is extremely people-friendly and likes to be close to his humans. Sometimes too close, his personal space understanding is limited!
He travels really well in the car.
He is too big and daft for children under 10.
He walks well on his lead until he spots something, anything that interests him; dog, bird, cat, etc then he will make a run for it and has 40kg of weight behind him. He needs a physically strong handler!
Like a lot of Ambulls Clyde isn’t the sharpest tool in the box and has limited impulse control.
His interactions with other dogs can be overzealous and he can get carried away. He has never harmed another dog but can be way too giddy so he needs to be an only pet and safety measures such as muzzling need to be utilised when around other dogs.
No cats or small furries
He is housetrained and crate trained
He doesn’t like being left so needs someone around a lot.
He will sometimes bark for attention.
In summary, he is a big lovable lump who has no idea of his size or strength.
