Aireworth Dogs in Need is a foster based rescue covering the area in and around Keighley, West Yorkshire. The rescue is a registered charity and is run by a team of dedicated volunteers, all committed to creating happy endings for dogs in need. The rescue is managed by a small team of trustees, supported by an amazing committee. Everyone involved, from our Treasurer to our Website Designer, our Vet Coordinator to our Home Checkers, are volunteers, each one of them giving up their spare time to support our charity.
We work as a team and have clear processes and procedures to ensure the safety and best outcomes for the dogs in our care. Our ultimate aim is to match dogs with the right forever home and undertake thorough checks to ensure this. Each dog and home are considered on an individual basis.
In addition to the trustees, committee and volunteers we work in partnership with a range of professionals such as vets, behaviourists, trainers and canine physiotherapists to ensure the dogs have the input they need and deserve.
Dogs come into ADIN for a variety of reasons (owners who are ill or have passed away, marriage breakdowns, finance and housing, dog behaviour issues and some that are simply abandoned and unclaimed) but whatever the reason we believe that every dog deserves a forever home where it can be happy and bring happiness.
