Percy is a 10 years young pug x terrier who is unfortunately having to find a new home due to a change in his owner’s circumstances. He is currently being left for 12 hours a day, and although he is coping with this his owner doesn’t feel it is fair on him to continue leaving him for such long periods.
Percy is neutered and up to date with his vaccinations
Percy is very people-friendly, and loves attention. He hasn’t lived with children, but has been fine with the children he’s met.
He is toilet-trained and OK to be left for reasonable periods
He currently lives with another dog, but likes to be in charge. We think he probably can’t live with cats as he reacts to them when out and about.
Percy is rather hit-and-miss out on walks and is known to react to some dogs and cars. He is currently walked on a golf course where he doesn’t have much chance to practise these encounters.
He pulls on the lead, and needs some help with learning to walk nicely. He has never been let off lead, so we do not know whether or not he has any recall.
He is food-orientated and quite quick to learn.
