She is a sweet and loving 6 year old girl who really needs a chance after being picked up from the pound where she was due to be put to sleep.
She is the most loving and affectionate girl and just loves human interaction and company.
On a recent vets trip the vet commented that she was the calmest and easiest dog to examine as she just lay back and treated it like a spa experience!
She travels beautifully in the car with no fuss or commotion.
Peggy can be reactive to other dogs but thanks to the work of her current fosterer using distraction techniques this is improving greatly but is a work in progress.
She is strong on the lead but a figure 8 head collar really helps this. She loves a bomb about but doesnt need lots of exercise.
Crate training has also begun and she’s slowly adjusting to this although she’s not keen on being left.
She loves people, a fuss and cuddles and just desperately needs some consistency. Ideally she’d be better in a household with more than one person and someone around quite a lot to help her settle.
Peggy cant be rehomed with young children (under 10) as she doesn’t like too much noise and activity when she’s chilling.
She hasnt been cat tested so needs a pet free home.
Could you be the family Peggy is waiting for?
