My name is Dale, I’m an 18 month old Basset hound, and although I have short legs I am a very big dog (26kg). I have been snipped, fully vaccinated, microchipped and am up to date with my flea and worm tablets (yuk!) I was sold by my previous owner when I was 12 month old, and a nice lady bought me, but now I need to find another home, one that I can stay at forever. I’m a very good boy, I walk nicely on my lead when I’m out but because I’m a hound I sometimes don’t come back if I’m let off lead. I love to play with other dogs, sometimes at day care I pester the other dogs a bit too much, but I’m very gentle with the puppies. I love children, I love them even more if they will play with me, but sometimes I jump up and it gets me into trouble. Cats don’t worry me, infact nothing much does. I don’t chew, I wee and poo outside, and I can keep my legs crossed for hoooours if it’s raining and I don’t want to get wet. I don’t mind being left home alone, but my present human sends me to day care which I love. I hope my new home will have a nice garden to sniff round. If you have another dog for me to play with that would be great, but you had better ask them if they mind playing ALL day long first, because I never ever get tired. Are you the human for me?
