Arthur (m – Coon Hound) ***Available to Adopt***

October 6, 2017

Arthur is a large 2 and a half year old Coon Hound. He is good with dogs and children but because he’s very large and bouncy we would recommend that he doesn’t live with small children.

He is scared of rabbits and we are told if cats come in the garden he doesn’t chase them or even squirrels.

He needs LOTS of exercise (several hours a day).

He does have separation anxiety presently and will howl if left, so he really needs to go to someone who is at home most of the time.

He’s a lovely very giddy young lad.

  1. Arthur sounds like a lovely boy and just what we are looking for. I have never owned this particular breed before but very used to an active breed. We owned a liver spotted Dalmatian for 12 years who we adored. She sadly passed away in May and our house is just not a home without her. We have considered getting another Dalmatian but it just won’t be her so we want a different breed but with similar energy levels. We would love to come and visit Arthur if possible to see how we get on. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks, Mel.
